Several parts of North India witnessed plummeting temperatures yesterday, with Kargil in Jammu and Kashmir shivering at minus 19 degrees Celsius.
Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.9 degrees. In Punjab, Adampur recorded a minimum temperature of minus 0.8
degrees as the cold wave conditions prevailing in the state and neighboring Haryana.
In Rajasthan, temperatures dropped at many places due to easterly winds. As many as nine places in Odisha recorded a minimum temperature of below 10 degrees Celsius.
