New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to the state to lay the foundation stone for Bengaluru Suburban Railway Project and inaugurate the Ambedkar School of Economics, modernised ITIs and other development projects.
Speaking to media persons in New Delhi yesterday after his meeting with the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister said that the Prime minister has agreed to visit Karnataka twice in December and his office will intimate the dates. The Chief Minister said that he assumed office
on 28th of July and his government has completed 100 days.
He informed that the Prime Minister appreciated various programmes such as the scholarship for the children of farmers, Amrit Yojana and Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurement Act passed by the State Government. Amrit Yojana introduced to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence is targeted to benefit 75,000 youngsters, 7,500 Self-Help Groups, 750 Gram Panchayats, Farmers’ Producer Organisations, schools and 75 talented sportspersons.
