Bengaluru: Karnataka Minister for IT-BT and Higher Education Dr. C N Ashwatha Narayana has welcomed the Central Government's decision to ban PFI and its sister agencies. Speaking to media persons in Ramanagara yesterday,
Mr Narayana said that PFI was funded from abroad to create communal disharmony in India. He also informed that the state police had raided over 15 locations yesterday to apprehend PFI cadres as a
precautionary measure.
Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru, Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani said that PFI was a threat to internal security. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for taking a bold decision to ban PFI. Former Minister and senior BJP leader K S Eeshwarappa also welcomed the Central Government's decision to ban PFI.
