The Karnataka Legislature session will begin with the address of Governor Vajubhai Vala today. Briefing the media yesterday, the Speaker of legislative Assembly Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, informed that the session will be held till February 5th.
The Governor will jointly address the members of both legislative Assembly and Council today. Thereafter a discussion will be taken up on the
Governor’s address. The Bills to be taken up are an anti Cow slaughter bill, a bill on epidemic control and amendments to Motor Vehicle, Lokayuktha and Horticulture Acts.
Public will not be allowed to witness the session due to the pandemic. The Speaker informed that the State budget session will be held in March.
