Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that Prime Minister visits Karnataka for the election campaign will be decided after the completion of the nomination process on April 24th. Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru today, he said that Prime Minister is likely to campaign at 20 locations during the election.
Speaking to media persons in Nanjangudu, Congress legislative party leader Siddaramaiah charged that both BJP and JD(S) have hatched a conspiracy to defeat him from Varuna in this election. But he added that this is his last election and
the voters who have always supported him in the previous elections will give him victory with a margin of one lakh votes.
Meanwhile, the Chief Election Office in Karnataka has clarified that any political content in the form of messages, comments, photos, and videos posted on the blogs or self-accounts on the website will not be treated as a political advertisement and therefore do not require pre-certification from the media certification committee. This holds good for the posts by political parties and candidates.
