Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C N Ashwathnarayan has said that the state will build an industrial corridor between Mysuru and Bidar to augment the development of industry and commerce. This would be in line with the modules of Bengaluru-Chennai and Bengaluru- Mumbai corridors, he explained.
He was speaking through an online platform in Feature Karnataka Summit organised by Spare Travel Media and Exhibition organisation today. The minister said that the land reforms amendment Act, APMC amendment Act and simplification of labour laws initiated by the Government will usher in development and
employment.
He informed that Single Window System provides seamless opportunity not only to small industries but also to heavy industries to get all the required permissions in one place. Saying that the GDP of Karnataka is growing sustainably amidst many challenges, he pointed out that the state is expected to achieve a GDP of 35 lakh crore rupees in the next five years.
On the Covid situation in the state, Dr. Ashwathnarayan said that the facilities created to manage the pandemic are adequate now and the infection is under control.
