Kashmir Divisional Commissioner asks railway authorities to restore train services in valley

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan has asked the Railway authorities to restore the train services in Valley from next week.

He gave this direction during the meeting with railway officials, Districts Administration and police convened to discuss restoration of railway



services in Kashmir.

He directed the Railway authorities to conduct a track inspection within three days, which will be followed by a trial run on November 10 and the resumption of services from November 11. Khan asked the officials to make all arrangements for resuming train services.
