Kashmir: Encounter in Pulwama, 1 terrorist killed, 2 holed up inside house

Security forces gunned down a terrorist today morning and two others are believed to be hiding inside a house in south Kashmir. underway in Bamnoo Keller area.

Security forces launched a search operation in Bamnoo Keller area of Pulwama this morning following information about presence of at least three militants there. 

One militant was killed in the encounter



which was still going on. The identity of the killed terrorist could not be ascertained immediately.

The Special Operations Group (SOG) Pulwama and 44 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) of Army have cordoned off the area and a combing operation is on. 

On Saturday (July 1), two militants including top Lashkar commander Bashir Lashkari, were killed in an encounter in  Anantnag.
