In Kerala, midnight mass and special prayers marked the Christmas celebrations across the state. Last evening, churches adorned with twinkling lights and colourful festoons came alive with the joyous hymns of carols.

As the clock struck 12, midnight bells ushered in the spirit of Christmas, accompanied by prayers led by senior clergymen. Cribs with figurines depicting the

Nativity of Christ were kept in churches and homes, to mark the occasion. Several political leaders also participated in the midnight mass held in different parts of the state.

Christmas in Kerala is a celebration of unity and harmony, where people of all faiths and backgrounds come together to partake in the festivities.
