Kerala Govt decides to include Christian Nadar Community in OBC list

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Government has decided to include the Christian Nadar Community in the OBC list. The decision comes in the backdrop of the Union Government handing over powers to the States to decide on beneficiaries falling



under OBC category.

Kerala High Court had stayed a similar decision the State Cabinet took in February last year, saying the States were not empowered to expand the OBC list.
