Keylong coldest place in Himachal Pradesh at minus 6.1 degree Celsius

In Himachal Pradesh, Tribal district Lahaul and Spiti's administrative centre Keylong continued to be the coldest place in the state with a minimum temperature of minus 6.1 degrees Celsius.   

However, the minimum temperature in Shimla was recorded 4.6 degrees Celsius. Kufri recorded a low of 5.0 degrees Celsius and the



minimum temperature in Chail was 4.2 degree Celsius. 

Cold wave conditions also gripped other parts of the state, causing the mercury to dip below the freezing point in Manali, Kalpa and Seobagh as well. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded in Keylong at minus 6.1 degrees Celsius.
