Kolkata High Court Orders ED: Arrange Medical Checkup for Minister Jyotipriyo Mallick Outside Eastern Command Hospital

Kolkata High Court has informed the Enforcement Directorate, ED that the medical checkup of arrested minister Jyotipriyo Mallick can be done twice only at Eastern Command Hospital Kolkata and ED has to arrange other hospital for minister's health checkup.

Jyotipriyo Mallick is under ED custody till 12th November 2023.  Earlier the Command Hospital has objected to the lower



court's order that the health checkup of Jyotipriyo Mallick can be  done at its facilities. The hospital authority has appealed to the Kolkata High Court that the hospital is only for Army personnel and any outsider creates extra pressure.

Kolkata High Court has given its order in favour of Eastern Command Hospital.
