Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy wins Nalgonda MLC election

In a big blow to the TRS, former MP and Congress leader Komitireddy Rajgopal Reddy won the MLC election by a majority of 158 votes. It may be recalled here that Rajgopal Reddy's brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy challenged that he would quit politics if Rajgopal Reddy lost the



poll. 

Out of 1100 votes polled, Rajgopal received 542 votes while TRS candidate Chinnapareddy polled 428 votes. The Congress party took this MLC seat as prestigious as both Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komitireddy brothers are from the same district.
