Three AC coaches of the Korba-Visakhapatnam Express were gutted by fire on Sunday morning shortly after the train arrived at Visakhapatnam railway station.
The fire began near the A1 coach, prompting passengers to raise an alarm.
Railway officials then assisted everyone in safely evacuating the train, even as the flames spread to three coaches. Fire fighters doze off the fire. All passengers were evacuated without harm, and the fire has since been brought under control.
