Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has asked his partymen to tie old cows outside residences of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders and see their reactions.

According to an Indian Express report, his unusual prescription came on the last day of party’s three-day meet in Rajgir. He reportedly told them to tie their old cows, which have stopped giving milk, at RSS and BJP workers’ (homes).

He said that whenever they see stray cows, leave them at their houses and see their reaction and observe what they do with them.

Lalu also demanded that three of the four Shankaracharyas should be from the Other Backward Classes, Dalits and tribal communities. Advising party workers not to attack alliance partners, Janta Dal (United) and Congress.“Whatever you say, you must not speak against the alliance,” he

said.

Meanwhile, Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV today showed an alleged conversation between Rashtriya Janta Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin on a tape, in which the latter was purportedly heard of issuing instructions.

Following the first report of the Republic TV, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sushil Modi said, ‘Lalu must quit public life’. He also said that a BJP delegation will meet state governor soon on the issue.

Interestingly, in the past, Lalu has categorically denied being in touch with Shahabuddin. Shahabuddin is a criminal turned politician. He was elected four times as a Member of Parliament from Siwan, Bihar, with the RJD. Being convicted in many criminal cases, he was debarred from contesting the 2009 general elections.
