Life returns to normal in violence-hit Hailakandi, Assam

In Assam, life is returning to normal in violence-hit Hailakandi district with the withdrawal of daytime curfew. 

Internet service in the entire Barak Valley region has also been restored.

rumour mongering in social media and contribute towards restoring peace. 

PG and UG exams of Assam University stand cancelled for the second consecutive day today. Curfew was imposed in Hailakandi on Friday following violence between two groups that claimed one life.
