Lok Adalats Are Backbone Of Our Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism: Justice Sanjiv Khanna

Supreme Court judge Justice Sanjiv Khanna has said that Lok Adalats or the People’s Courts are the backbone of our alternative dispute resolution mechanism. He added that Lok Adalats play a vital role in resolving disputes outside of traditional courtroom settings. 

Justice Khanna encouraged litigants to participate in the upcoming



Special Lok Adalat, scheduled from the 29th of this month to the 3rd of next month. He added that the Special Lok Adalat, to be held by the Supreme Court, will also offer remote participation via video conferencing. He emphasized that this initiative is aligned with the apex court’s commitment to ensuring justice for all.
