Lok Sabha Passes Outstanding Demands for Grants from Union Budget 2024-25

Lok Sabha yesterday passed Outstanding Demands for Grants related to expenditures proposed in the Union Budget 2024-25 by different Ministries. The Outstanding Demands for Grants were approved after Lok Sabha applied guillotine. Later, the House was adjourned for the day. 

The House also



gave its approval to the Appropriation (2) Bill, 2024 moved by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The Bill authorises payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the financial year 2024-25.
