Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla says, No link between MPs' suspension and security breach incident

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Saturday wrote to all MPs over the security lapse in Parliament on December 13. Om Birla said it was unfortunate that some members of Parliament were "linking the decision of the House to



suspend some members" to the Parliament security breach incident which occurred on December 13.

"The suspension of the members is purely to uphold the sanctity of the House," Om Birla said.
