In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha yesterday visited Kathua district and reviewed developmental activities. The LG directed officers to reach out to the people for saturation of beneficiary oriented schemes by 30 September. He further directed for regular monitoring of development projects,  completion of at least 2 works projected in the B2V programme in each panchayat.

Later, the LG visited the



border outpost of BSF in Hiranagar sector and was briefed by IG BSF, Jammu Frontier on preparedness, steps for strengthening security along the International Border and  he observed the International Border from the Border Outpost.

Sinha also listened to the demands of border residents at village Bobiya in Hiranagar sector and gave directions to officers for their speedy disposal.
