Madhya Pradesh Budget session adjourned sine die for Covid-19 cases spike

In Madhya Pradesh, the Budget session of the state Assembly was adjourned for an indefinite period due to rising number of coronavirus cases in the state. The decision was taken by the Speaker, Girish Gautam, following night curfew being



imposed in Bhopal, last evening.

The budget session was scheduled till March 26. The assembly was adjourned after a proposal tabled by legislative affairs minister Narrotam Mishra.
