Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav announces name change for 11 villages

In a big move, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday announced the change of names of as many as eleven villages of the state in view of public sentiments.

Amidst growing local demands to change the names of certain

villages, the Chief Minister took the decision while addressing an event in Shajapur and announced the renaming of the villages.

The names of 11 villages previously bearing titles associated with the Muslim community were changed.
