In Madhya Pradesh, after scrutiny of nomination papers, out of 4,439 nomination papers on all 230 seats in the state, 2916 nominations have been found valid.

Candidates in the state can withdraw their names till tomorrow. Voting will be held in the state on 17th November.
 
Election Commission teams in the state has intensified investigation.  More than Rs 226 crore in cash and material has been recovered by the joint teams of EC till



29th October. This includes more than 25 crore Rs in cash and 19 lakh liters of illicit liquor worth Rs 37 crore. Apart from this, there are narcotics worth 11 crore 70 lakh, jewellery worth 75 crore and other items about Rs 77 crore. 

On the other hand, Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has banned exit polls from morning of 7th November to till evening of 30th November under the Model Code of Conduct.
