Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said, during last year, Maharashtra has attracted investments of over Rs. 2 lakh crore under the Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0 programme.
He was speaking at the third edition of Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0 in Mumbai on Tuesday.
MOU’s worth Rs. 61 thousand crore generating over 2 lakh jobs were signed in the presence of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Industry Minister Subhash Desai.

Maharashtra 2.0 he said that this is the proud moment which gives him immense satisfaction that Maharashtra has attracted Rs. 1.12 lakh crore in just six months during the Covid crisis.
He congratulated Industry Minister Subhash Desai and his team for this. He appreciated the concept of Udyog Mitra and invited young entrepreneurs to invest in Maharashtra.
The investments were made in a diverse range of sectors that have been very significant in recent times such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotechnology, food processing and FMCG as well as steel & automobiles, engineering and oil & gas among others.
