Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde announces new Film City to be developed between Mumbai and Thane

Mumbai: Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that a new Film City will be developed between Mumbai and Thane. He was speaking at a ceremony to mark 12 thousand 500th show of renowned Marathi theatre actor Prashant Damle.

Devendra Fadnavis felicitated Mr. Damle. Mr. Shinde said that Maharashtra Government has recommended Mr. Damle’s name for Padma Award. He assured that Nodal officer will be appointed to review the situation of Drama theatres and repairing works of theatre will begin soon.
