Srinagar: Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar yesterday, June 11. Dr. Shrikant Shinde, a Member of Parliament was also present.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra requested the Lt Governor for allocation of land in Srinagar to build 'Maharashtra Bhawan' to strengthen tourism, cultural exchanges, and economic
development.
The Lt Governor observed that the Union Territory has converted challenges into opportunities, and it is now the symbol of success and prosperity. He said, J&K is full of self-confidence and is moving forward on the path to progress. He said, socio-economic growth with equity and social justice in the last four years has ensured all-round development and prosperity for all in Jammu and Kashmir.
