Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday claimed that no projects have been transferred outside of Maharashtra and asserted that the state is progressing in terms of both economy and investments. Replying to the discussion regarding the Governor’s address to both the houses of legislature, he targeted the opposition parties for creating ‘fake narratives’ about projects moving outside the
state.
He highlighted the importance of Mumbai as the country’s most important manufacturing and export hub and the biggest hub for diamond export. Mumbai has a share of 75% worth 38 billion dollars in gems and jewelry exports of the country, he said. Fadnavis also reiterated the fact that Maharashtra is on the top position in Foreign Direct Investment.
