Maharashtra Government launches website 'mahacovid19relief'

Maharashtra Government had announced an ex-gratia of Rs.50 thousand to the relatives of those who lost their lives due to Covid 19.

The state government has launched a website mahacovid19relief. to submit applications for this scheme. Immediate relatives of deceased persons are requested to submit their Aadhar number, Mobile number, and Details of a deceased person with a death certificate on this portal. 

Covid 19 deaths already registered with the



central government’s database are not required to register. Others who have a death certificate with cause as COVID 19 or other medical proof showing death due to COVID 19 have to submit those documents on portal.  

Approved applications will be displayed within a week on the portal. Applicants whose claim is rejected on portal can file an appeal with a committee formed at District and Municipal Corporation level.
