Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh Tenders Resignation

In the wake of the order passed by the Bombay High Court to conduct a CBI inquiry into the allegations leveled by former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh, Maharashtra Home

Minister Anil Deshmukh has tendered his resignation.

Deshmukh in his resignation letter sent to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that he is resigning on moral grounds.
