Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the state government will deposit on 17th August the ‘Ladki Bahin’ installments for July and August month in the beneficiaries’ accounts. 

While addressing a meeting of BJP workers in Akola, Fadnavis said that the newly introduced



scheme is getting a huge response in the state, and 1.5 crore women have registered for it so far. Under this scheme, married, divorced, and destitute women aged 21-60 will receive 1,500 rupees per month, with the annual family income of beneficiaries capped at 2.5 lakh rupees.
