Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan has said that a Tribal University with 80 percent reservation for students from tribal communities will be set up in Nashik. The Governor was in Nashik on Monday where he met local representatives of various political parties. Nashik’s Guardian Minister Dadaji Bhuse, deputy speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Narhari Zirwal, MP Bhaskar Bhagare and representatives from various political



parties were present. 

The Governor, who is also the Chancellor of all universities in Maharashtra, said that the university will bring social development, adding that top notch infrastructure for imparting IT, engineering and other fields will be made available. Mr. Radhakrishnan said, measures will be taken to improve healthcare facilities in the district.
