Maharashtra to launch seaplane services

The Maharashtra government is contemplating on starting seaplane services in a big way across the state to facilitate transportation and boost tourism.

The Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) has invited applications



from companies/firms/consortiums to identify the routes for operations in the state.

The MMB will provide and maintain requisite infrastructure like terminal building, jetty, water aerodrome and so on.
