Mumbai: A major fire broke out in a five-storey hotel in South Mumbai last night and 25 people were rescued from the spot. A fire brigade officials said that 25 people, all doctors, were residing in Hotel Fortune, located near Metro Cinema, when the blaze erupted last night. He informed that the fire spread on the first to third floors of the hotel located on 1st Marine
street.
According to the fire official it was a level-2 fire and at least eight fire engines have been rushed to the spot.
Meanwhile, the fire brigade has informed that the situation was brought under control and no injury was reported. It informed that all doctors were evacuated and safely rescued.
