A Major fire was reported at midnight in a dedicated private COVID hospital in Bhandup, a suburb in Mumbai and fire-fighters are still trying to douse it, when reports last came in. Senior officer of Mumbai Police has informed that 2 persons were found dead.
 
Fire department said that seven persons found unconscious and 73 patients were rescued and shifted to nearby private and government COVID Hospital. Fire department is trying to rescue 6 more people trapped inside



the building.
 
Fire was reported around 12 am and its level 4 . More than 25 fire engines are trying to douse the fire. Mumbai’s Mayor Kishori Pednekar and other senior officers rushed to the hospital and instructed administration to take all necessary steps to control the situation. Mayor has said that the detailed enquiry on the reason for fire and who gave permission for hospital in the mall will be carried out.
