Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba has reposed faith in Make in India initiative saying, it will also help Nepal in reviving its manufacturing sector and create jobs. 

Speaking at a India-Nepal Business Forum meeting in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Deuba said, through Foreign Direct Investment, Nepal is eager to participate in the scaling up benefit from the regional value chain. The Nepalese Premier said his goal is to work for the future youth. 

Mr Deuba said, his talks with Mr Modi will emphasise on a forward looking development agenda that is defined by collaboration on projects that can inspire both societies and transform their economies in 21st



century. 

Mr Deuba said, with the rise of India and China as global economic powers, Nepal can be the new melting pot for tourists, traders and investors.Speaking at the India-Nepal Business Forum, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, the foundation stone for oil product pipeline will be laid by October this year. He said, India intends to take further the natural gas pipeline from Gorakhpur to Sonwal in Nepal. 

He also said that Indian Oil Corporation and Nepal Oil are in talks for setting up 100 petrol pumps in the neighbouring country so that employment can be generated for 2,500 Nepalese youth. He also stressed on Gas connections for Nepalese women.
