Mamata Banerjee appeals to people not to get panicky over coronavirus

The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has appealed to the people not to get panicky over Coronavirus disease.

Miss Banerjee yesterday had a review meeting with district administrations, various State Government and Central Government Departments in view of the spread of the diseases at various parts of the country.

She advised the people to be cautioned over the spread of the disease and appealed them to comply



with the guidelines of the World Health Organization and Government to deal with the Coronavirus.

She said that her government will work with the center jointly to contain the spread of the diseases. She directed the Police administration to take steps for curbing black marketing of face masks and sanitizers. The State Government has already launched a special toll-free helpline on Coronavirus.
