Mamata Banerjee asserts NRC, CAA will not be implemented in West Bengal

West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Chief Miss Mamata Banerjee has asserted that NRC and CAA will not be implemented in the state.

Addressing a gathering at Naihati in North 24 Paraganas District yesterday afternoon, Miss Banerjee said, her party will continue its protest till both are not repealed.

Opposition Left and Congress jointly took out a rally in Kolkata opposing the NRC and



CAA.

       

Meanwhile, BJP took out an Avinandan Jatra at Cantai in East Midnapur District  congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the new law.

Addressing a gathering, State BJP President and MP Dilip Ghosh said that ruling Trinamool Congress is trying to mislead the people on CAA.
