Kolkata: The Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has expressed deep concern on the tragic train accident in Maynaguri on Thursday evening. She tweeted that the situation is being closely monitored from the state headquarters. Senior officers of the state government are supervising the rescue and relief operations.

Guneet Kaur said, 10 bogies of the Bikaner-Guwahati express got affected by the accident. Rescue operation is going on. Rescue Trains from Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri have been sent to the spot.
