Visakhapatnam: Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya laid the foundation stone for establishing a 50-bed critical care unit at the Andhra Medical College (AMC), Visakhapatnam, at a cost of 23.75 crore.

Dr. Mandaviya participated virtually in the AMC Centenary Day celebrations organised at the Andhra University Convention Centre on Friday.

Rajani, who was the chief guest at the programme, said the YSRC government has gone to the doorsteps of people to ensure their good health under the Jagananna Arogya Suraksha campaign.

She pointed out that 600 crore have been allocated by YSRC government for development of KGH. 246 crores have been spent on medical services in remote tribal areas.
