Manipur CM N. Biren Singh Announces Plan To Plant 70 Lakh Trees By September

Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said that the State Government is targeting to plant around seventy lakh tree saplings in the State by September this year.

Attending the 75th Van Mahotsav 2024 campaign under the theme ‘Ek Ped: Maa ke Naam at Lamlai village in Imphal East district yesterday, the Chief Minister applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his innovative idea of planting trees in the name of

The Chief Minister led people in the mass tree plantation held at a nearby hill as part of the campaign yesterday. The State Forest, Environment & Climate Change Minister- Thongam Biswajit Singh, Fisheries Minister -Heikham Dingo Singh, MLAs, officials of Forest Department, students and residents of nearby villages participated in the mass plantation campaign.
