A medium intensity earthquake, shook Delhi and neighbouring Haryana in the wee hours today the epicentre of the quake was in Bawal in Rewari district of Haryana.
The MeT department said, the quake had a depth of 10 kilometres, measuring Richter Scale magnitude 4.4.The tremors were felt in
the national capital, Gurugram and Ghaziabad around 4:30 am and lasted for about a minute.There was no immediate loss of life and property reported from anywhere.
An earthquake of 3.6 magnitude had hit Punjab's Jalandhar district yesterday. The quake had a depth of 13 kilometres.
