Met dept predicts rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh from Jan 4

In Himachal Pradesh, the weather remined generally clear today, but the cold wave increased due to light clouds in the afternoon. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in the state from 4th of January. 

Temperature is being recorded below the freezing point at many places in the tribal areas of the state, while cold wave continues in the lower plains due to dense fog. In



Tabo area of tribal distrct Lahaul Spiti the minimum temperature was recorded at minus 14.7 degrees, while in Keylongit was minus 6.2 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall and rain once again in the state from 4th of January , while an alert of fog and cold wave has also been issued in the lower plains.
