Militants attacked a roadside bunker in the down town Srinagar and a police station in south Kashmir, injuring a CRPF constable and three police personnel tonight.Official sources said the militants hurled a hand grenade towards a roadside bunker at Saraf Kadal in the down town city tonight resulting in injuries to a CRPF constable identified as Vikas Panday and three police personnel Farooq Ahmad, Tariq Ahmad and Nazir Ahmad. The injured were shifted to hospital, the sources said.
Security
forces have launched a massive hunt to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
Militants also attacked police station at Shopian in south Kashmir with automatic weapons. Security forces also retaliated but there were no reports of any loss of life.
Militants later managed to escape under the cover of darkness. The sources added that the militants also fired towards the house of a former legislator. No one was injured.
