Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi will visit the Netherlands from the 8th to the 10th of this month following her visit to Ecuador and Paraguay. During her visit, she will interact with various stakeholders from the government, legislative, and multilateral institutions, as well as the Indian community.

Ministry of External Affairs said, the Netherlands is a special friend and valued partner for India. India- Netherlands relationship is based on shared values of democracy, pluralism, rule of law and respect for human rights. 

It said, that both countries share



broad and multifaceted cooperation, including in political and strategic, trade and investment, water, agriculture, health, climate action, science and technology, innovation and education.

The Ministry said, the ties have been further strengthened by regular high-level visits.

The Ministry of External Affairs said, that with the largest Indian diaspora in the European Union, people-to-people ties are both historical and integral to India-Netherlands relations. It said, the visit will further enhance the strong bilateral relations
