The YSR Congress Party MLA R.K. Roja trying to enter the assembly premises based on the Hyderabad High Court's order staying her suspension.
The YSRCP MLAs led by Opposition leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy staged a sit-in on the Assembly premises when Ms. Roja was not allowed to enter the A.P. Assembly by woman marshals.
The YSRC Party MLAs went to the Raj Bhavan to lodge a complaint against the ruling party for not abiding by the Hyderabad High Court order allowing Ms.Roja



to attend the Assembly proceedings. The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, was however, not present in the city.
This was preceded by a dharna for close to one hour on the Assembly premises in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue.
Mr. Y.S. Jagan wanted the Chief Marshal and officials to give in writing that they would not allow Ms. Roja inside the Assembly. The officials, however did not budge and insisted on Ms. Roja leaving the premises.
