Moderate to heavy snowfall may occur across Himachal Pradesh for the next two days, the Met office said. Residents and tourists have been advised not to venture out to the high hills.

Hills of Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Sirmaur, Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur districts are likely to experience heavy snowfall over the next 48 hours.

The people of Himachal Pradesh are reeling due to intensive cold as temperature in many areas have dipped down below freezing point especially in tribal



areas.

Met office has issued warning of moderate to heavy snow in next two days as western disturbances are moving towards regi.

According to met office Most of the prominent tourist towns like Shimla, Narkanda, Kufri, Kalpa, Dalhousie and Manali are likely to have light to moderate spells of snowfall, the state govt has issued warning for the people of the state and tourist not to venture out in mountainous treks as it could be dangerous.
