Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended full support to Bangladesh in its fight against terrorism in the wake of several terror attacks in the neighboring country. Mr Modi assured this to visiting Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, who called on him in New Delhi yesterday.
An official release said, Mr Khan briefed the Prime Minister on the situation in
Bangladesh and thanked him for India's support and solidarity.
Mr Khan also met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh for a delegation level talks where both sides agreed to enhance cooperation on anti-terror efforts. Both leaders emphasized the need to immediately operationalise the agreement on combating terrorism, organized crime and illicit drug trafficking.
