Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday reiterated the promise of his government that by 2022, there will be no homeless person in the country. He said that those who didn't get their houses under PM Awas Yojna today will definitely get it tomorrow.
Speaking at a rally Kanpur, the Prime Minister said more than one crore 50 lakh houses have been completed under the PM Awas Yojana in the country and in Uttar Pradesh the speed of making houses under this scheme improved only after change in regime in state in 2017.
Criticising the recent incidents of attack on Kashmiri people, Mr Modi said that now we need unity, harmony and brotherhood in the nation. He said that some miscreants targeted Kashmiri brothers and UP government acted swiftly on them. He appreciated the Yogi Government for his swift action.
Attacking Pakistan, the Prime Minister said that the neighbouring country was caught red handed on terrorism and they are being criticised worldwide but the comments which were made by opposition is being used by Pakistan for
propaganda against India.
Mr Modi said that it is unfortunate that some people are trying to let down our forces. The kind of language which is being used against forces is only giving benefit to sympathisers of terrorists.
Addressing a gathering of more than one lakh people, the Prime Minister said that his government has taken many steps against terrorists and now they are acting in desperation.
Calling Alliance of Opposition, Mahamilawat, Mr Modi said that those who are in prison or at the verge of getting arrested are getting united against Modi.
Talking about the Namami Ganga Mission, he said that earlier governments were not interested in development and they even looted the money of Ganga Cleaning projects. He said more than 275 projects are continuing under the Namami ganga mission and more than 50 out of them are just in the state itself. Mr Modi said his Government made people believe that what was impossible yesterday is possible today.
