Monsoon arrives in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Monsoon arrived in Maharashtra on Sunday, June 11. Regional Meteorological Center, Mumbai has informed that a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundershower in Mumbai city and suburbs is expected. Occasional strong winds reaching to 45-55 kmph are also predicted. Passengers at Mumbai Airport are facing some issues due to delayed or cancelled flights.

Inclement weather conditions and the temporary closure of a Runway at the Mumbai airport, in addition to other consequential factors, have resulted in delays and cancellation of some of their flights. Mumbai Airport's spokesperson has claimed that the issue persists with Air India only and not with other airlines. Airport Operations and Runway is working smoothly.
