Monsoon expected to advance further in next 24 hours

Monsoon is expected to advance further during the next 24 hours after the weakening of Cyclone Vayu. Monsoon made an onset over Kerala on 8th of June, nearly a week after its usual onset date.

India Meteorological Department K Sathi Devi said, cyclone Vayu is expected to weaken during the next 24 hours and this will pave the way for monsoon winds to move up towards the Arabian Sea.
